Q: What does FIKA mean?
A: Fika (pronounced Fee-kah) is a Swedish coffee break, but it's actually a lot more than that. Fika is a social institution in Sweden that dates back to the 1700s. Swedes have always been big coffee drinkers. In fact, they drink more coffee than almost anyone, anywhere in the world! Fika is all about taking time during the day to indulge in the simple pleasures of life, like coffee and good company.
Q: When does the Sweepstakes start and end and how do I know if I'm eligible?
A: The sweepstakes starts on 8/16/12 and ends 9/14/12. In accordance with the Official Rules, the promotion is open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., who are 18 years of age or older as of August 16, 2012.

A: The drawing for the prizes will occur on or about 9/24/12 and winners will be notified shortly thereafter.
Q: How many times a day can I enter the sweepstakes?
A: You can enter the sweepstakes once a day. Be sure to use the same email address each time you register. However, you can earn up to 5 additional entries each day through our Tell-A-Friend program. Share information about the Sweepstakes through the tell-a-friend program and when one enters, you get another entry (up to 5 a day).
Q. When I tried to enter the promotion today, I received a page that said "Sorry, you've exceeded the daily entry limit" even though I haven't entered yet. What can I do?
A. You may want to try clearing your browser's temporary internet files (cache). Go to the 'tools' drop down menu on your browser and click on internet options. Click on the 'general' tab. In the section labeled temporary internet files, click on 'delete files'. Then try to enter again. This should clear any old pages from your browser.
Q: What is the "instant reward" and how do I get it?
A: The instant reward is our way of saying thanks for entering the sweepstakes. It's a coupon code you can use on gevalia.com for up to 30% off your order. Once you have successfully registered in the sweepstakes, you will receive a confirmation email from Gevalia, which will include the instant reward offer and coupon code for you to use on gevalia.com. The offer code expires on 10/14/12.
Q: Can I use the instant reward in-store?
A: No, the instant reward can only be used on gevalia.com.
Q: How does the instant reward work and does it have an expiration date?
A: It is a single use coupon code good for use on gevalia.com. Go shopping on Gevalia.com and enter the coupon code when prompted during checkout. Your discount will be applied to your order. It expires on 10/14/12 so be sure to redeem it before that date!
Q: I can't find the coupon code for the instant reward, where do I locate it?
A: The coupon code for the instant reward can be found in one of 2 places:
- On the confirmation page of the web/Facebook/mobile registration process. Once you have successfully completed the registration, you will see in the blue instant reward box.
- In a confirmation email that we send to all successful registrants. Check your email inbox for mail from Gevalia Fika with Friends Sweepstakes. In the email, your coupon code can be found in the blue Instant Reward box.
Q: If I lost my coupon code, how do I get another one?
A: Enter the Sweepstakes again; you will be issued a new instant reward coupon code.
